Board of Directors

Being a member of our Board of Directors involves getting everyone working toward the same goal and assembling the appropriate human and financial resources to implement the Garden City Downtown Vision revitalization program. It oversees the overall fundraising for the organization, the development of all advertising campaigns, manages volunteers, promotes the Downtown Vision program, and builds and maintains coalitions and partnerships with the City, the Chamber, the County, and Economic Development. This group also manages the finances and is considered The Big Picture People.  The Board also conducts the organization’s business meeting that includes working through the monthly agendas.  The Board serves a vital role in forwarding the Mission of the organization and ensuring the implementation of the Strategic Plan and goals set by the Board and the Director.   The Board is always looking for individuals who are passionate about Downtown to join our team.  Contact the Executive Director for more information at vision@gcdowntown.com.
