I have painted off and on for most of my adult life while working as a psychologist and then an administrator of special ed services but painting has become more of a focus in the past few years. I grew up on a little ranch so the natural world has always been most interesting to me, especially the sky. I am a member of the Cloud Appreciation Society and I love painting stormy skies, the birds that inhabit them, and the land beneath. I have painted lots of Yorkshire UK but recently my view turns back to home and horses, hats, and difficult cowboy situations are themes. I still love a huge landscape but there is so much to be said in smaller pieces as well. Still learning, responding to new creative pathways and still having a really good time.
