Born in Kansas and raised in Colorado, Judy Scott graduated from Gunnison State College with her undergraduate degree she then married and returned to Kansas. Judy then obtained her Masters Degree with an emphasis in Ceramics from Fort Hays State University and became acclimated and inspired by the Western Kansas landscape. Judy has remained happily settled largely do to the wonderful years spent at Ulysses High School between 1963 - 2003 and the welcoming communities of Lakin and Ulysses and the art teachers of Western Kansas.
