As a painter, I tend to be expressionistic. I focus on representing expression by exaggerating bold and vibrant colors to represent the colorful celebrations found in Mexican culture. I also enjoy using the palette knife technique in my work. With this tool I can create a sense of depth due to the texture it builds up. This texture allows me to bring my viewer into the piece.
