A 0% interest loan fund of up to $30,000 payable over 1-5 years, IWW is meant to stimulate private investment in downtown. The fund serves to recruit and retain jobs while developing and strengthening downtown businesses, ultimately creating a stronger tax base.

IWW Loan Requirements

Applicants will pay a $50.00 application fee.
Applicants for loans will provide the following:
- Projected Cash Flow.
- Business Plan, including a narrative of the project, budget, and project schedule.
- Copy of Lease Agreement/Certificate of Occupancy
- Copies of bids/estimates used to determine the budget for the project.
- Architectural Drawings showing proposed changes (if part of project involves design)
- Current photographs of project (if part of project involves design)
- Other Items Requested by the Economic Vitality Committee for loan consideration.
The Economic Vitality Committee will make a recommendation to the Board of Directors based on the financial information and design plans provided by the applicant. All financial information will remain confidential.
If recommended for approval by the Economic Vitality Committee, the Garden City Downtown Vision Board of Directors will then review the application for final approval.
The Executive Director will communicate the status of the application to the applicant.
If the application is approved:
1. The applicant must be a Garden City Downtown Vision member (business level or above) in current good standing for the life of the loan.
2. Garden City Downtown Vision reserves the right to assess an administrative fee if needed.
3. Loan recipients will be required to sign a security agreement, promissory note and loan guaranty agreement.
